This product was a let down. I am a BIG fan of the 3M products and use them for everything so I was soo sure these would work. We put them up EXACTLY how the instructions said and after the 24 hour wait put the caddy on and BOOM not even 10 mins later they all came down (i bought 3). so we tried again...two of them fell down again very quickly but for some reason the 3rd is up and has been up for 2 days now with stuff in it. I don't know if maybe there is a bad batch of command strips out there and we got two that had the bad batch and one that didn't?!? i have no ideal why the one stayed and the others didn't?!?! Even though i got one up i am still not happy since they all didn't work.
as far as how much space for your items it is a lot and in the center where you can't see on the picture is a soap tray so the whole basket is not hollow for bottles, which i was disappointed about (others im sure will be happy about that but we don't use bar soap so it was a waste of space i could have used for bottles) but it still can hold a lot. So wish the other two would have stayed up with the 3rd. the 3rd one im to afraid to put normal shampoo or conditioner on in it and all we have in it is shaving cream, face soap, baby shampoo, and small baby oil...so im not sure if baby we are playing it safe with the weight or not, but i rather not find out since i need a shelf in the shower.

Had a smaller version for several years in my shower and it worked great. Decided to upgrade to larger unit, but still did not put anything more than what was in smaller one. I wanted the larger unit just in case ....it fell down in a week. I followed all directions to a the letter. Oh well still have the smaller one will try to go back to it, maybe shouldnt have messed with a good thing

I've had my shower caddy for YEARS. 5 apartments over the course of 5 years! Every time I move, one of the first things I do is hang up the caddy on the shower wall with replacement strips. You HAVE to press down on them when you stick them on! I've *never* had mine fall down off any of the walls, even after being up for 2 years in once place!
I love, love, love Command strips- they work fabulously on most walls, as long as you follow the instructions and weight/use guidelines!!
