I purchased this from Home Depot with lot of suspicion thinking that this will be waste of money. I have hardwood at my first floor. Apart from applying the strips on all boundries of the rug, you also need to apply it in the center of the rug and other areas. If you leave lot of space between the strips....gripper's efficiency to hold the rug from slipping would decrease.
I am pretty satisfied.

I bought 12 pieces 8"x19" stair treads carpet with traction non slip backing for my hardwood stair, but all pieces keep moving when people walking up and down the stair. Looking around to find solution and give this product a try to see what happen. I was in doubt when applying this product to the back of each piece since the non-adhesive side of the tape wasn't stayed in place to the rugs as you've seen on the product image. However, after few weeks running up and down the stair, all carpet pieces haven't not moved an inch. Great product to solve the problem.

I applied the tape per instructions on my small area rugs and had high hopes. What a waste of money! My two small puppies that are under 7 lbs each run over it and the carpet does not stay in place.
I am thoroughly disappointed and will not spend another dime on this product.

I was very apprehensive buying this product, as I've never had success with rug holders or the Duck brand. When I pulled it out of the box, I was even more sure that it wouldn't work at all. But three weeks later, that rug hasn't moved an inch. The tape even holds it in place when our 50 pound puppy runs through the house and stops on it. It used to be that rug would slide 5 feet when he stopped on it...now it doesn't budge. I've come back to buy 3 more packages for rugs throughout the rest of the house. Fantastic product!
