Amazon.com Product Description Depending on where you live-and depending on where you keep the crystal-you may be in need of Quakehold!'s museum gel. Here's how it works: simply pinch off a bit of the non-toxic gel and adhere it to the bottom of the object you want to secure, then place it on the shelf. The gel will hold it fast in the event of an earthquake. If you ever want to move the object to another location, simply twist and pull to separate it from the shelf. The gell is fully reusable, and it doesn't leave marks on wood or other materials.--Josh DettweilerWhat's in the Box Four-ounce jar

museum gel July 15, 2010 bryna brashier (PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, US) Museum Gel is a wonderful product. It kept my artwork from falling off of pedestals during my sculpture and pottery show at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Excellent for use in motor coach May 11, 2010 P. Johnson (Billings, MT) Museum Gel is great for making things like a silk flower arrangement in a vase stay on the counter of our motor coach. I also use it on the bottom of the toaster and a wine bottle basket. I no longer have to worry about things falling off the countertops as we travel around the USA. I do not have to pack all these items away in a drawer or cupboard each time we set off on our next journey. It is very adhesive and takes a very small amount of gel to keep things in place. I also use Museum Gel on the bottom of some of my pieces of Belleek in my curio cabinet. I no longer have to listen to the pieces rattle as a person walks by.
Museum Gel REALLY WORKS May 6, 2010 Cricket F. Johnson (Gilsum, NH) We recently bought a Motor-Home and are in the process of selling our log home and traveling full time. I have some very special breakable items that I wanted to take with us but was afraid they would break with all the movement of our motor-home. I had pretty much convinced myself that I would not be able to take the family heirlooms that were so special to me. I saw an ad for Museum Gel, and decided to try it. I was shocked, it really worked as the label stated!!!! We can ride and things do not move! I have been able to put a lot of things like crystal into my RV and with just a few little balls of the Museum Gel on the bottom of the item, they stay. They can be removed and the gel reused. This product is perfect for RV'ers and I am really shocked the company hasn't figured that out. They should advertise in every RV magazine! It is great!!!
Good Stuff - One problem to keep in mind! February 13, 2010 Sue A. Meyer 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have used this product for years. It's great. Keep in mind it does melt if the room gets hot. I have found when I need to clean the shelves and the gel is removed, if it gets on the rug, which small particles have, it melts and you cannot remove it. I have tried to get it out of the rug o but to no avail, it is permanently there. So, put a drop cloth down so none of the gel gets on the carpet during the removal process.
love this stuff, no home should be without it January 30, 2010 Jane Marie Hanna (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just a great product to secure items to shelves that could slip or be jolted out of place. Especially items up high that might be subject to house vibration and wiggle their way off of a shelf. I love this stuff. Protects valuables.
