Neat and Tidy Application May 29, 2010 N. LEE-MACKO I used this to put landscape barrier seams instead of using landscape staples.
Saved me a lot of money and back-breaking work. Final outcome is as neat and tidy.
Will buy it again but store seem to have run out of this product.
Don't bother wasting your money April 22, 2010 Sherri Chavez (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased Mighty Mendit to affix patches on my daughters' girl scout vests. I have had to do all of them 3 times because they kept peeling off after just a couple days - even while just hanging in the closet, not from wear and tear. I finally broke down and paid to have them sewn on because I didn't have time to keep re-gluing them and I was unwilling to spend the money to purchase another product to do it again with. Really DO NOT BOTHER. Buy the sticky stuff they sell through Girl Scouts to put on patches. It works and is reliable. I couldn't use the GS stuff on the patches I had put the Mighty Mendit on because the junk was stuck to the fabric of the vest and it couldn't adhere to the vest. Big thumbs down.
Absolutely AWFUL! April 11, 2010 E. Igneri (NY) This product is the worst! It dries lumpy and white. I used it to mend a hem, and line of dried glue scratched my legs. I'll stick with a needle and thread!
Love this stuff, never want to run out. April 6, 2010 alx2 (Jacksonville Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This stuff blows a hot glue gun out of the water. I hot glued some fabric trim onto my daughter's lamp and it immediately fell off, picked up the mighty mendit and it was on. I mean, like instantly. Our sheets were ripping down at the foot of the bed, mighty mendit made it through the washer and dryer a few more times until it finally gave. We repaired a horse blanket this winter that the other horse had chewed a hole in all along the top and back and within minutes we had it back on the horse. I just glued back together two fronts to two dresser drawers my daughter has yanked off the front of her dresser. Wood glue has taken time to set, Mighty Mendit, holds immediately. I used it to retack up a pair of pants that the hem was coming out of. I have all kinds of glue and cement around here, always trying to find something that works and when Target or Walmart is next to giving the glue away, I'll buy it. Mighty Mendit is the best. Seriously my husband gave me this as a stocking stuffer for Christmas, just got online to see where I can buy more because I don't want to run out.
doesn't work as advertised March 15, 2010 K. Stuckey (Port Huron, MI USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this item after seeing the commercial on TV, specifically to fix a pillow on my couch that had blown out a seam. I followed the directions to a t, and three days later the same seam was blowing out again, only now it is all crusty on one side from the "mighty" Mendit. I tried it again last week with a pair of pants with a splitting seam that could not be sewn...same result, even though this time I clothes-pinned after applying the product and let it set for 24 hours. As soon as I took the clothespin off it was opening up again. I cannot imagine using it on leather or denim as it claims, it barely works on light cottons! A waster of my ten bucks!
