Product Description This is the perfect mailer for delivering your disc via USPS, UPS or Fedex. The mailer doesn't require any additional packaging to send via these carriers. Easy to seal, and easy for the enduser to open. Our most popular mailer.

beware misinformed USPS clerks! June 9, 2010 RTR (Sacramento, CA USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These mailers are excellent, but I had to go to the mat with my local Post Office. They insisted it had to be mailed as a package because of the stiffness. I printed out the info from the USPS website and returned to the Post Office. Eventually the supervisor contacted someone higher up and agreed I was correct--these go as "non-machinable letters." The dimensions information above is incorrect. When folded shut, these mailers are 5.7" h by 6.3" w. If they were over 6.1" high they could not go as a letter. I had enclosed a DVD with full-face label, inside a light sleeve, plus with a 4.7" square insert printed on card stock and the leftover DVD label sheet with end labels for a crystal case. This all came in under 2 oz. A regular letter of that weight would require $0.61 in postage, but because it is stiff (non-machinable) there is a surcharge of $0.20, so the postage was $0.81. My PO insisted because it contained a DVD that it must be a package. Wrong. By its dimensions it is a letter. Because it is stiff (also because it isn't sufficiently rectangular) there is an extra charge of 20 cents. Don't let them bully you into paying $1.39 postage for a "first-class mail package." If it were too large to be a letter (as in a large envelope), then being stiff would kick it up to requiring "first-class mail package," but its dimensions are within the "letter" limits. Hope this saves you some time and money!
Just what I expected! October 7, 2009 J. Sakotas (Huntington Beach, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is exactly what I expected and am very pleased with the cost and amount that I received. Its a lot cheaper to get then going to Staples or Office Max.
very happy with them September 15, 2009 GameMaker (Portland, OR USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I recently had a batch of dvd's that I needed to send out, so I purchased these mailers. I'm very happy with the mailers. They are large enough that you can either insert just the dvd/cd by itself, or you can put the disk into one of the thin jewel cases and put that inside the mailer for added protection. Either way it works great.
Perfect Mailer May 25, 2009 Flyem High Rockets (Atlanta, GA.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We use this mailer to mail out all of our cd catalogs and there has never been any problems with the cd not arriving safe. A great buy. The surface is glossy and will smear if using hand written pen works great with malling labels. Great buy.
Practical, Cheap, and Well Made December 1, 2007 beesquare (FALLS CHURCH, VA United States) 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
Made of glossy-both-sides cardboard. Easy to write on with a ballpoint pen but if you want to use a fountain pen or roller ball with liquid ink, better use a paper label. Also, if you have a rubber stamp with "Media Mail" or "First Class" don't use it because the ink will smear. Use a sticker or write with a ballpoint instead. The cardboard material is thicker than a picture postcard but not quite as thick as the cardboad that comes with a new man's shirt. No internal padding, so the mailer is not as stiff as heavier and considerably more expensive ones I have been buying from Office Depot. However, I have been using Netflix DVD rental service successfully for years and their disk mailers are just flimsy paper, so I conclude that these mailers are very safe for mailing your disks even without the internal padding. The inside is glossy smooth, so it will not damage the surface of your disk. Overall sealed dimensions of the mailer are 6 inches x 5-15/16 inches. Unsealed dimensions are 6 inches x 7-5/8. These mailers are designed to mail disks either bare or in a paper or vinyl sleeve; there is not room inside for a plastic jewel case. The flap is securely self-sealing; just remove a paper strip to expose the adhesive and press the flap closed. The flap incorporates a perforated zip strip for easy opening of the package by the recipient. The description of "50 pack" is a bit misleading. A full pack of these contains more than 50 mailers so I received the quantity of 50 loose; i.e. not in sealed packaging; however that is not problem for me. For calculating postage costs: each mailer weights 0.6 ounces empty, 1.2 ounces with one CD or DVD with paper sleeve, or 1.8 ounces with two disks in paper sleeves.
